Editing:

  • Proofreading…($35—40/hr)

    For work almost ready for publishing, includes small fix typos, punctuation errors, and formatting. Minimal rewriting.

  • Copy editing…($38—43/hr)

    Deeper dive into the text, focus on typos, punctuation, syntax, grammar, and/or fact checking. Minimal to some rewriting, depending on level of copy edit required.

  • Line editing…($45—50/hr)

    Specific focus on clarity and fluidity of language at the sentence level. Rewriting and query focused.

  • Development…($47—53/hr)

    Notes on a developing or unfinished project, including help with structure, dialogue, plot, and character arcs.
